Lifted

'Stress is like wine
Gets stronger with age
Most these people bad actors
On the worlds open stage
But Im chillin in the dark
Behind the curtain n shit
Makin sure when Im up
My act will be legit.
I see many minds oppressed
with stress and insecurity
Man made problems destroy life's purity.
The dirtier you get, the more you won't care
Life is good, but you'll remain unaware.
The right kind of cash, can buy a blind man eyes
But you can't see shit
Puttin a price on life's prize.
Still, Money make the world spin
Bottom to top
So C.R.E.A.M till the day I drop.
But no real love leaves a person confused
Life's a bitch, cause you keep gettin used.
Some turn to drugs
Some pray to the sky
In the end of the day
You still wanna cry.
Let fear take over.
If happiness ain't a goal.
Its easy to blend in with the lost souls.

Yourself..
Thats the easiest thing to run from
Take chances
See how great you can become.
But hey
Most don't try and won't know
I'll sit back love, laugh and enjoy the show
The stage is present day
So I think were all gifted
And finding out how I am
Just got me lifted.'

Alone

When you go through a bad time, it should be known...
You come out the way you went in, Alone.
Every day seemed boring as the last.
I seem to keep living in the past.
I thought these feelings would disappear
But that shit stayed with me the whole year
I brought myself down
Feelin lazy and stressed
Sleeping all day
Was more than just rest.
Everyone I got close to turned out the same
Nothing special
All selfish and lame.
I had my real friends
And the ones that care
I seemed to have forgotten they were always there.
The fun I had was what we made
But all those memories seemed to fade.
I wasted much time being alone or stressin'
It took a year
But think I learned the lesson.
No more running, Im just gonna live
Find happiness in what each moment can give.
See, Bad times are normal
Just make you stronger
More good times though
Make your life longer
But when you go through a bad time, it should be known...
You come out the way you went in, Alone.
